1. Overview
DriveEazy Rentals is an independent booking assistance service. We help arrange reservations with third-party rental suppliers; we are not the rental company. Because the actual rental contract is between you and the supplier, cancellation and refund eligibility is primarily governed by that supplier's policy for the rate you selected. This page explains how the process works and how we can help.
2. How to cancel or change
To cancel or modify a reservation, call us at (844) 745-2895, available 24/7, or email [email protected]. Please include your name, reservation reference, pick-up location, and dates. We will process your request and confirm the outcome, including any applicable supplier charges.
3. Supplier cancellation policies
Each rate falls into one of two general categories:
- Free cancellation rates: can usually be cancelled without penalty up to the deadline stated at booking (often 24–48 hours before pick-up).
- Prepaid or non-refundable rates: may be partly or fully non-refundable, or may carry a cancellation fee, as disclosed before you confirmed the booking.
The specific deadline and any fees for your reservation are set by the supplier and were disclosed to you at the time of booking. We will always tell you the applicable terms before you confirm.
4. How refunds work
If your rate is eligible for a refund, the refund is issued to the original method of payment. Because payment for the rental is typically made to the supplier, refunds are processed by the supplier and timing depends on their procedures and your bank — commonly 5–10 business days, though it can take up to one or two billing cycles. Any amount charged directly by DriveEazy that is eligible for refund will be returned promptly after your request is processed.
5. Service fees
If a separate, non-refundable DriveEazy service or booking fee applied to your reservation, it will have been clearly disclosed before you confirmed. Unless stated otherwise, such service fees are not refundable once a booking has been arranged.
6. No-shows & late pick-up
Failing to pick up the vehicle at the reserved time without cancelling in advance ("no-show") may result in the loss of any prepaid amount and forfeiture of the reservation, in accordance with the supplier's policy. If your plans change, contact us as early as possible so we can help minimize charges.
7. Modifications
You can request changes to dates, times, locations, or vehicle type by calling us. Modifications are subject to availability and to the supplier's rules, and may change the total price. We will confirm any new rate before applying the change.
8. Billing questions & disputes
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate and coordinate with the supplier where appropriate. Charges applied by the supplier at the counter (such as fuel, tolls, damage, or upgrades) are handled directly by that supplier.
